PITOGO - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Riverside, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 AM of December 31, 2016.

The victim was identified Jerry Polo, 41 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok Sangi, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was stab by suspect named Regan Aking, 23 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of same place. The victim sustained one (1) stabbed wound on the lower left portion of his body and was rushed to Margosatubig Hospital for immediate medical treatment while suspect fled towards unknown direction. Pitogo MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive of the incident and arrest of the suspect for filing of appropriate charges in court.
